shake2001pro.zip Earthshaker Pro 2001 v1.0 2/20/2001 A Descent 3 level by schplurg & Starkiller Featuring an even meaner version of the Shaker - the Earthshaker Pro Missile - as suggested by Bama. This is the final version of Earthshaker Pro 2001. This level features a new, tougher version of the Earthshaker Missile, which was introduced in Earthshaker 2001. This level was designed for advanced shaker pilots and, in my opinion, is much closer to how the shaker should be. However, due to the speed of the missile, a good fast server and low pings are highly recommended. A PEER TO PEER (rather than client/server) game will result in less "mystery" deaths in internet games. If you think our original Shakers (D3) are too hard, than you will hate the Earthshaker Pro. Here are a few reasons: - Primary missile initial speed and top speed have been increased slightly. - The "bomblets" initial speed and top speed have been increased...You will notice the difference. - Increased bomblet turning power somewhat to compensate for the speed increases. - The missile powerup rotates now (as any worthy powerup should!). - The missile and powerup have been retextured, and are slightly larger. - I optimized the level by combining over 100 polys. - I stuck a shameless ad in the level somewhere ;) Remember it will also be easier to kill others - you know, those $%!&#'s that you just can't kill with the normal Shakes (who shall remain nameless :). Any feedback on the new missile is welcome. Any missile "hate mail" should be directed to me since I hacked and mutilated Starkiller's original missile "coding" on my own.
