+****************************************************+ * ROTUNDA - Custom Level for Descent 3 Multiplayer * +****************************************************+ Created by Kevin Wayte Pilot name: GayBoy Designed between September 25th and October 10th, 1999 My first level also appears at www.gameedit.com called HAPPY TUNNEL Game type: Multiplayer, Anarchy 360 degrees of multiplayer battlespace. 12 of the 16 playerstarts begin in four safe "respawn rooms" under the floor of the rotunda. The other 4 playerstarts are in the six-sided "goodies rooms". Specifically lit to be darker and creepier than most levels found out there, there are lots of dark hiding places. Each room has its own color theme, along with the lights in the room having the same hue. The four rooms that break off the main rotunda allow for separate battles to happen without interfering with battles going on in the main rotunda or other rooms. Due to the 360 degree mirrored nature of the level, visability is limited to only the room you are in, or the room directly across from you. One of the rooms features a fog attic which hides a special goodies area for stocking up on weapons in private - IF you feel it's worth it, because the fog is radioactive and burns your ship at 2-3 shield points per second! And beware of the green prongs in the ceiling! They bite!
