Vertigo Enigma ANARCHY LEVEL FOR DESCENT 2 Made By TheAnarchist a.k.a. Jason T. MacHardy realart@microsp.com This level can be gotten at: http://www.filmprofit.com/realart/lvls/ Version 1.0 dated 08/19/96 Hello. First off, it would be greatly appreciated, if people would refrain from copying and using this level to recreate it and use it for thier own dasterdly ideas, or otherwise "cheat" and claim they made it. Ok, well, here is my VERY first level, completed. Whew! That wasn't easy to learn!! I used Devil (trademarked by its respective company) to create it from scratch. This file, version 1.0 vertig.hog, only contains one level called "Infinite Seto". It is basically a MASSIVE ROOM especially made for dogfighting. Indeed, it has quite a few tunnels, but they are more than large enough for passing and chacing. My purpose and reasoning behind how and why I built this level, extends purely on these specific points: 1.large enough space to dogfight like REAL d2 players do! (self explainatory) 2.enough hidden spots to boggle the mind, but are easily located for quick access in anarchy play. 3.large space to dodge those annoying e.s. missles and smart mines. (NOTE: although 75% of the players get most of thier kills this way, I find it important to "master" dogding them, and I still indeed did include them into the level.) 4.enough weapons for 8, accessories for four. (getting tired of those 200mghz T1 players hoggin all the fun??) 5.Groovy textures used, to make it kewl to look at, and NOT CONFUSING, as so many people like to do when making levels. 6.No robots for single play, kinda pointless for that, I find the original d2 lvls are the best for that kind of stuff. 7.floating cubes. Seen a few try it, and I hated thier results. It "BIT" so to speak. Mine are functional, as you can actually "hide" around them. 8.yes, there is an invun. in there, hehe, somewhere. An es missle too. 9.Tunnels all lead to similar spots. Just a constant moving level sort of thing. I find I never stop moving in a level in multi-play. Also there are NO PLACES TO HIDE AND DOMINATE. I find it spinless to do that, but, I LOVE knocking them out. I'll make something especially for it. Look for it in Vertigo Enigma V.1.5 In conclusion, (as much as I can think of at this moment) I basically built this level as I was sick and tired of turning corners and dieing without even getting a weapon. I hate it, you hate it, and we all know it. I love the dogfighting. Isn't that the point anyway? There is more than enough room to do that here! I do, however, plan making one whole room, with eveything in it. But later. I love the passing and strafing in mid-flight adn being able to dodge and keep going all in one motion. I myself have a set of "manuevers" that I use when playing. Although, I dont plan on sharing them! Ok, that's all for now. If there are any problems with the level, i suggest you download it again, and check your system extensively before even thinking of e-mailing me about it. I have included my e-mail for bug reporting. This level has been tested and retested in win95 and dos mode by myself and a few of my friends. No problems as of yet. This file (vertigo.zip) should include, the vertigo.hog vertigo.mr2 vertigo.txt. If it doesn't then some weenie forgot to include it, or deleted it! PLEASE, PASS IT AROUND WITH ALL FILEZ INTACT!! On more time: PASS VERTIG.ZIP AROUND WITH ALL ORIGINAL FILEZ INCLUDED. Vertigo Enigma is MY creation. Although Interplay owns all copyrights to the game and its relative parts, it would be EVIL of anyone, to copy them from me. Enjoy the level, there are MANY more to come!!!!
