This level was created by Luke Schneider Feel free to send comments to the author at last@uci.edu Name of Mission: Juggernaut Description of Mission: =Descent II Special Mission= *JUGGERNAUT* =The Mission= Destroy the Bad Guys, Save the Good Guys, Return Safely. =The Details= This level was created in the glory of the final world of Descent II. It has the same texture theme, the same monsters, the same quality, and the same difficulty. The major difference is this level has hostages. Here's some things you should know about before you go blasting into this great mine: 1) The robots are smarter and tougher than usual. Some robots fire twice (or more) as much as they did in the built-in levels while moving much faster as well. 2) There is more than one thiefbot, but you'll only see one of them until later in the level (maybe). 3) There is a trap for the thiefbot or whatever you feel like trapping. It's a little difficult to figure out, but it's worth it if you can do it. 4) The yellow key is possessed by a robot. The robot is weak, so you might just find the key laying around somewhere after some other robot killed it. And there is no blue key. 5) Some hostages are very hard to get to. The only question is whether you'll make it out in time or not. 6) Wingnut may not know where the reactor is, but you can get to it easily. It's so easy you might get frustrated by it. =Background= I've spent more time testing this level than any level I've ever made. It is VERY hard I'll admit. But it is also VERY fun. Everytime I play it's different. And I love playing against the best AI ever. That's what this level is about: Man Vs. Machine. This level is only the means by which the ultimate confrontation is played out. Well I hope you enjoy playing this level. Please feel free to send my your comments (last@uci.edu). ================================================ Software Use Limitations and Limited License ================================================ This special add-on level for Descent (the "Software") is intended solely for your personal noncommercial home entertainment use.
