------------------ LEVEL INFORMATION ------------------ Level: Event Horizon 2 Author: Kris Schneider (A.K.A. Badgas and Leesper) Description: This is the second level in the Event Horizon series. It was made with netgame play in mind, so I'm hoping it will be fun to play in all areas of netgames. The level has no real purpose and it seems that most of the good levels don't have one. This level was made for anarchy, capture the flag and hoard. It's just the right size, not too big and not to small. And I made it so you can always get of a bad situation when you need to. The frame rates seem to be good as well. On on Pentium 120Mhz with 24MB of RAM, the lowest frame rate I got (without shooting) was 30 FPS. So, explore the level, know it inside and out, and then play it on Kali. It should be pretty fun, I hope. There are three secret areas all together, all of which I strategically placed for netgame play. Two of the secret areas are the same from the first version of Event Horizon but there is a new secret area in the lower portion of the level. A surprise awaits you once you find the secret area. Oh, one other thing. I played this level in both DOS and Windows 95. I found that when playing in DOS, I got about 5+ more frames per second than when playing through Windows. Playing Descent 2 in DOS is better. Have fun.
