This level was designed by Peter "Pummeler" Kostka with Devil 2.1g. e-mail me at: pkostka@acs.ryerson.ca or bn816@torfree.net Many thanks to Parallax, and Achim Stremplat, the creator of Devil. Description: Size - 9Kb zipped, 37Kb unzipped (2 copies of the level in the hogfile) Solo - I guess, but there's no key gathering required. Co-op - Naw, wouldn't be worth the trouble. Supports up to 8 players Anarchy - But of course! Robo-anarchy - That too! Flag - Yup. Alrighty folks. This one should be perfect for multiplayer games, especially over the net. It's small and runs fast (for comparison's sake, it has only a few cubes more than Dark Hall, which anyone who's played that level knows how smooth it is), but the design isn't limited to plain straight halls. There are a few small tunnels, two big rooms and 3 wide spiraling hallways! (helix-like) Actually, because of the spirals and the way they're connected, the level feels more complex than it's size would suggest. It'll take a few fly throughs before you can be sure of where you're going. (even I went in circles a few times, and I *made* the darned thing!) 8-) I've taken everything into account to keep the level playing smooth, including not putting in doors, not using the sparkly-things in the energy center, not putting in too many items, not including weapons like bombs and plasma... in fact, this level is a test of the true dogfighter's skills with only laser upgrades, homing missiles, 2 fusions, 4 afterburners and 3 smart missiles for spice. If you want a game with more destructive items, play robo-anarchy and the bots will drop 2 spreadfires, 2 plasmas, 1 mega, 1 vulcan, 1 cloak and 1 invulnerability. The lighting is eerie(oooo... eerie!). I put two copies of the level in the hogfile so that if weapons start multiplying, you can blow the reactor and start a clean level. Oh yeah, the homebases for a flag game are in the two big rooms and they're marked with a striped texture of the corresponding colour. Comments and criticism are always welcome.
