Fourth level ever created by author. 5/4/96 Level(s) Description : A replacement for the first level of Descent. It is composed of a unique blend of rooms, and strong game play. Excellent for Deathmatch, Co-op, or Single player. This level is supposed to be an infested trading mine facility. This level is designed for MULTI PLAYER NET GAMES Batch file to start : None, this is set up as a Descent mission. Machine Requirement : Currently I have an Intel Pentium P6 Pro 200 mhz, with 128 meg of Parity ram on an Intel Aurora Mother Board and a Number Nine 128 Pro vidio card with 8 megs ram on board. This level should run well on any Pentium or better machine. I also use a Programable Thrustmaster F-16 FLCS Joystick with a F-16 TQS Programable Throttle and Rudder system. Monitor is an NEC MultiSync XP21. Hints : 1. The Level is divided into FOUR Quadrants 2. Each Quadrant is separated by it OWN FORCEFIELD WALL 3. All the Switches to Deactivate your Forcefields are located in your Quadrant 4. The Other Quadrants have the same FORCEFIELD & Switches 5. It is possible to deactivate ALL the Forcefields with JUST THE FLARE. Level Faq : COMBAT!! level was specifically designed to be used for guided missile combat. The level is separated in to four areas by invisable forcefields. All of the forcefields can be deactivated by shooting a switch on the wall. The forcefields are deactivated one at a time. The Exit is under the Reactor Robot. When using this level for Multiplay All players should be advised to turn "FAST JOIN OFF". With fast join on you may join the level with ALL the forcefields Up and NO switches to shoot to turn them off (A MAJOR BUMMER). I have also seen players get trapped inbetween the forcefields with no way to turn them off. This flaw can be remedied by using "FAST JOIN OFF" or by starting the level over again with all players rejoining.
