BATTLEMECHS! Version 1.0 Level designers: Garry Knudson (Level 1: Surprise) Razor Blade (Level 2: Aquarius) MD_2032 (Level 3: Batcave) Robot HXM files: Garry Knudson Music design: Various composers Level 1: Mission: Impossible (remix) Level 2: Deadcell (from Gradius III) Level 3: Tetrinet theme Mission: Impossible Remix written by Luke Schneider Music remixing: Luke Schneider Text file: Razor Blade DESCRIPTION: Battlemechs would probably be considered just plain flat-out anarchy. But, instead of flying around in your little Pyro-GX, you're gonna' be flyin' around as one of three different mining robots! These robots are the Class 1 Drone (the yellow, silverfish-like robot from D1), the PEST (green robot with black eyes from D2), and the PIG (fat red robot with green eyes from D2). These robots are equipped with the standard Pyro-GX features, and are battle-ready to take on three challenging new arenas. BATTLEMECHS LEVEL 1: SURPRISE Designer: Garry Knudson Robot: Class 1 Drone (Standard PTMC Utility Robot) In Level 1: Surprise, you will become the Class 1 Drone on an attempt to blast your fellow Drones to pieces. The arena consists of a large lower room and a maze-like upper room. The Reactor is protected by shielding, so see if you can find a way around it. BATTLEMECHS LEVEL 2: AQUARIUS Designer: Razor Blade Robot: PEST (Portable Equalizing Standard Transbot) Aquarius takes place in an aquarium of sorts. And the PEST robot is the one competing here. This second arena is surrounded by a large ring-shaped corridor encasing a multi-tiered battle arena in the center. There are many small crevices along "The Ring" that hold items -- but you're as good as dead if someone traps you in those crevices. BATTLEMECHS LEVEL 3: BATCAVE Designer: MD_2032 Robot: PIG (Preliminary Integration Groundbot) The wide-open expanses of the Batcave will challenge any PIG robot. Filled with curves and flowing water, only the most agile will survive this arena.
